YOU HAVEN’T SEEN A  MUSIC TOUR ON A BICYLE YET, RIGHT?

Bike & Sounds wants to put the spotlight on those who have been silenced by the pandemic. The energy and adrenaline of the entire live music industry will be used to help those living in a state of long lasting emergency.

Pink noise is a specific type of sound used to equalize the PA systems during a live music show. The name arises from the pink appearance of visible light with this power spectrum.

PINK IS IMPORTANT TO US. NOISE IS IMPORTANT TO US

WE’VE GOT THE ENERGY. WE’VE GOT THE ADRENALINE. WE WANT TO MAKE NOISE AGAIN.

The energy stored in the last 12 months will be the collective driving force for this challenge. The live music industry wants to support those who have been affected by the pandemic.

What is Bike & Sounds?

A story by bike together with the crew that are used to hard work: production manager, tour managers, lighting designers, sound techs, riggers, backline and local crew, staging crew, local promoters, site managers. Different roles with one goal: making the live show happen.

The collective sounds of an industry silenced by the pandemic will come together as one voice, to be heard and help others in difficulty.

When would all this happen?

We will leave Milan on May 25th for Verona, Padua, Bologna, Rimini and Rome end of the journey. Ten cyclist will face the 530km trip, respecting all the anti Covid-19 rules.

As it happens in every tour we need production rehearsals anda Warm Up Show. On March 1st we will leave San Remo, Teatro Ariston, where traditionally takes place the San Remo Festival. This will be our warm up show! Radio Deejay will be following us for this one. There will be a live phone call interview at the start of the journey

What is the goal?

The aim is to share the story of the people that strive together on stage, before the lights come on, and well after they go out.
Again we want to give voice to some of the people that may not be free speak for themselves and help those who live in states of emergency and domestic violence. Bike and Sounds wants to support everyone in need not only people working in the live music industry.

A live show is timeless.
A live show is created by women and men using their skills to deliver unique emotions, and unforgettable memories.
We just cannot get used to this silence and we will not give up

This project puts the spotlight on an industry that won’t give up, and wants to help others in need.
